Cristiano Ronaldo has handed Real Madrid an injury scare in training.
AS says yesterday Ronaldo collided with Kiko Casilla in a training game and was immediately attended to by club medics. The 31 year old was forced to retire from the session.
The team were training at their Valdebebas centre when the Portuguese striker collided with Casilla during a drill following a push from Dani Carvajal.
As he made his way from the pitch he threw a bottle in frustration and ignored questions from members of the media about his condition following the collision.
Real coach Zinedine Zidane later remarked: "He'll be fine, he felt something and sat out last weekend as a precaution but will be ready for Milan. We're on track for Saturday with the players in great shape."
