Cristiano Ronaldo deflected praise over his hat-trick to his Real Madrid teammates after their 7-1 rout of Osasuna.
The Portuguese superstar notched his 12th hat-trick in a goal-laden Real career as they thumped Osasuna in the morning kickoff.
"We knew Osasuna were a tough rival and the important thing was to win today. Despite playing in the morning we had a good start to the match, we scored and played well in both halves," said Ronaldo.
"I'm very happy for scoring, but what matters is the team won. We were favourites because we played at home and we knew we had to follow an opening strike with another, and another."
