Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo thanked teammates after his four-goal haul in victory over Sevilla.
Despite scoring four goals in their 6-2 win away at Sevilla, Ronaldo thanked his team-mates for their contribution to the victory.
"To score four goals is not easy but you have to give credit to my team-mates because they helped me. I do not want to think about being the top scorer," Ronaldo told AS.
The world's most expensive footballer was pleased that his side managed the win after what has been a difficult week in the Spanish capital.
"After what happened in the Champions League, we wanted a good result and we got it. It is always important to win - the later they [Barcelona] win the league, the better. We have to win everything without thinking about Barcelona.
"It is a little disappointing [that we cannot win the league] but that is football. We will win our upcoming matches."
