Former AC Milan and Real Madrid star Ronaldo admits he received contact from Manchester City during the summer market.

The 2002 World Cup-winner admits he has been approached over a possible deal to join compatriot Robinho at Eastlands next year, but is non-committal.

"There was some contact [with City]," he said. "I have some projects but I am focused on getting over this injury."

Ronaldo has also been linked with Brazilian club Flamengo, where he has been receiving treatment.
