It's emerged that Ronaldinho's shirt has slipped to THIRD in sales this season behind Argentine midfielder Lionel Messi - and striker Thierry Henry, who has been at the Nou Camp for less than six months.
Indeed, Ronaldinho cannot even claim outright third, instead sharing the position with Samuel Eto'o. It's a huge fall for the Brazilian, who has driven Barca's merchandise machine since his arrival in 2003.
El Periodico says last season Ronaldinho accounted for 60 per cent of Barca shirt sales, but this term has slipped to 35-40 per cent.
Ronaldinho's poor form is not just affecting Frank Rijkaard's team on the pitch, but also hitting the club's finances, with merchandise sales said to be down 10-15 per cent on this time last season.
