Manchester United had an agreement in-place for Ronaldinho while the Brazilian was at Paris Saint Germain, it has been revealed.
DiarioSport says for several hours Ronaldinho was a Manchester United player. In negotiations with PSG, United had outbid Barcelona with current Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon spearheading talks for the Premiership club.
However, at the last minute Kenyon changed United's offer, which angered PSG and opened the door for Barca to complete the signing of the future World Player of the Year.
