Both Milan and Chelsea would prefer to wait until the end of the season before bidding for Ronaldinho, when the issue of his contract and also his current form slide will become clearer.
Meanwhile, Ronaldinho's brother and agent, Roberto de Assis, will be in Barcelona at the end of January for crunch talks with sports director Txiki Begiristain and vice-president Marc Ingla. Assis is seeking answers from Barca management about whether they intend to offer his brother a new contract, with his current deal expiring in 2010.
