Ronaldinho management to seek Man City lifeline

Manchester City are keeping tabs on Ronaldinho's satiation at AC Milan.

A move to England, or returning home to Brazil, are emerging as serious options for the former World Player of the Year this summer.

Ronaldinho's brother and agent, Roberto de Assis, is expected in Milan in the coming days for talks with the Rossoneri leadership. The player is doing all he can in training, but cannot get off the bench because of the system being employed by coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Ronaldinho knows how a departure from Milan this summer will be perceived around the world, but the 29 year-old refuses to accept the prospect of such a limited role again next season.

Manchester City are favoured by both Ronie and De Assis, having gone well down the road in negotiations last summer. In the Brazilian's favour is that talks were held with the previous management at City, so the door may still be open at Eastlands.
