Ronaldinho says Carlo Ancelotti would be a success if he should return to AC Milan.

The sacked Bayern Munich coach has been linked with Vincenzo Montella's job at Milan this week.

Ronaldinho stated: "When you change so much, you should leave the trainer the time needed to build a team to carry out a tactical project.

"Montella, however, knows that in certain clubs, and in particular in a society such as Milan, who has made the history of football, they allow little time. I hope the results will arrive, perhaps relying on a derby victory (this weekend).

"Ancelotti's return to Milan? With Pep Guardiola, Carlo is one of the greatest technicians in the world. It's clear that, if the Rossoneri club decided to change the bench, the prospect of Ancelotti's return would be a blow. He knows the environment and is loved by everyone, especially by his players."
