A Ronaldinho-influenced Zlatan Ibrahimovic double helped AC Milan to a 2-0 Champions League win over French club Auxerre on Wednesday night. The Swedish striker produced a classic display in the second half, finishing the brilliant work of the Brazilian playmaker to ensure the Rossoneri kicked off their Europan campaign with a win.
Ibrahimovic struck first in the 66th minute when Ronaldinho played in a teasing cross before adding a second three minutes later when the Brazilian teed up a drive and the ex-Inter Milan striker powered home.
The win marked the first Champions League game overseen by new Milan boss Max Allegri.
