The agent and brother of Ronaldinho has praised Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

Messi spoke of Ronaldinho yesterday over the way he was forced to quit Barca for AC Milan.

And Ronie's brother, Roberto de Assis, said: "The cases of Ronnie and Messi are not comparable because every player has his story. My brother had a dramatic moment before going to Italy, while with Leo I hope he enjoys the magic that comes from winning titles and being a champion.

"It's a lifelong friendship that arose during our time in Barcelona. He was a different friend, and together at home, on our part, is one of the family. Messi is an amazing person and a spectacular player."
