AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti defended his decision to again leave Ronaldinho on the bench for their 3-0 victory over Palermo. Alexandre Pato was out injured, but still Ronaldinho was left on the bench until the final stages.

Reasoned Ancelotti: "It was the right decision to sign him, he did very well in the first half of the season and then wavered because of the injury and the fact he wasn't playing consistently. After that, it's down to me to make the choices."
