The brother of Frank de Boer says the Ajax coach would consider the Liverpool job. De Boer was approached by the Anfield club before the appointment of Brendan Rodgers in the summer of 2012, but the Dutchman turned it down.
Speaking to Fox Sports, former Dutch international Ronald De Boer said his brother would consider taking up the manager's role at Liverpool should the position become vacant at the end of the season.
"Not yet, especially in the winter, but at the end of the season he surely could," Ronald said.
"It's a nice club. If Liverpool come now he would certainly think about it.
"He would certainly not close the door immediately, like he did two years ago."
