The midfielder spent last season on-loan with Hellas Verona.

"We're going to have to wait a bit - probably until next week," Alex Firmin told JN24.

"As I said a week ago, it is probably better to ask [Verona sporting director Sean] Sogliano.

"We're just waiting to see what happens. I haven't spoken with Fiorentina or Verona."
