Roma's Totti: Italy can be happy with France point

Roma captain Francesco Totti says Italy should be happy with the 0-0 draw they had against France on Saturday.

Totti, who has retired from the international game, said: "It was not easy to beat France, who remain one of the strongest sides in the world.

"The game was tough right from the opening whistle and very tactical, as both teams did not want to make mistakes, knowing full well that they would have been punished.

"Italy did begin the match very cautiously, but over the course of the night they created at least three or four scoring opportunities to get the winner.

"All told, this is an acceptable draw that means Italy still have every chance of qualifying for the European Championships."
