Roma captain Francesco Totti will miss at least two months of action after tests confirmed the severity of his thigh strain.

It is anticipated that Totti won't return to action until the end of February or early March as the second-grade strain to his right thigh requires up to 60 days to recover.

Totti will have another test in early January to re-assess the injury.
