Off contract Roma defender Matteo Ferrari has rejected an offer from Fiorentina.

"We will have some news before Wednesday," agent Gianni Corci told Tuttomercatoweb. "Matteo refuses a new foreign club each day, even sides playing Champions League football.

"He wants to play in Italy and Fiorentina showed an interest, but there is an economic difference between their offer and the demands he has made."
