AS Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi has gone cold on a move to Manchester City.

His agent Sergio Berti met City officials earlier in the week but, contrary to reports in the English press, he was discussing his other client Aleksandar Kolarov, the City full-back.

Berti's presence has sparked talk of De Rossi making a move to Etihad, but the midfielder is reluctant to leave boyhood club Roma.
