Roma's De Rossi on Barcelona radar
Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi is under consideration by European champs Barcelona.
El Mundo Deportivo says De Rossi has been long admired by Barca sports chief Txiki Begiristain, who will move for the Italy international if he cannot prise Javier Mascherano away from Liverpool.
Begiristain is convinced Roma, which are the subject of takeover talks, will struggle to resist any serious cash offer for Italy international De Rossi.
Mascherano is a £30 million target for Barca, but also is on the agenda of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

remember,there is African nations,and Toure and Keita would be out for atleast a month,and then Bousqets is an only option,ofcorse if they sell Gudjonsen
De Rossi is a class midfielder, but I think he'll stay with Roma. If he doesn't, Barcelona wouldn't be the only club to go in for him. How many defensive midfielders do Barcelona want to have anyway? Mascherano, Essien, De Rossi have been linked with them, and they already have Toure and Busquets to play there. Xavi does a good job in the defensive mid position too.
a very good defensive midfielder...and could definitely do a job for Barca...but the only problem is Barca already have a few good defensive midfielders..if barca really want to get Rossi,then they should clear the way for him first...
