Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov insists they won't block a move away for captain Craig Gordon.
"I think it's for Craig to decide his own best destiny, his own future," Romanov told the Hearts website. "It's a bit like the case with Ibrahim Tall where basically he was saying he had an offer from France and probably he might not have another one so he was telling me 'what if that's the last offer I get from a French club, what shall I do? Shall I go immediately?'
"You can't just hold somebody at the club if he doesn't want to stay and it's the same with Gordon. He thinks that he is young and he has a bright future.
"I myself believe the same, that he is very young and he has a fantastic future. If he tells me that there is something and he wants to go then that is his decision and of course he'll go.
"But you must ask Gordon about whether he wants to leave. I am not going to stand in his way if that is his decision."
