AS Roma youngster Giammario Piscitella has failed a doping test.
Piscitella, a winger, is currently on loan in Lega Pro with Pistoiese.
"Giammario is a good kid and what happened was simply a lack of communication," agent Giovanni Ferro told vocegiallorossa.it.
"He used a nasal spray due to a very strong cold and it contained a substance that showed up in urine tests.
"I am certain Giammario will prove his good faith and innocence, as it was a banal error. We are in contact with both Roma and Pistoiese to resolve the issue.
"Other players have been in this situation before and had the chance to prove their innocence."
