Bologna midfielder Amadou Diawara has gone AWOL from preseason training.

Diawara wants to leave Bologna this week, with Roma and Valencia both keen.

Bologna football director Riccardo Bigon stated: “It is not a pleasant situation for anyone, but I think he is the one who is being damaged the most by all this.

“He certainly doesn't look like a professional right now, so he's only hurting himself.

“Diawara is probably having difficulties, but he is not dealing with this situation at all well."
