Atalanta striker Simone Tiribocchi is interesting Roma.

Roma chiefs want to sign a new centre-forward for January and have been scouring Europe for affordable candidates.

Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko and Schalke's Kevin Kuranyi have both been mentioned, however, Tiribocchi is now emerging as a major target.

Tiribocchi only arrived at Atalanta at the end of last season from Lecce and is contracted until 2012.
