AS Roma are being linked with a fresh pursuit of Mamadou Sakho.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma boss Rudi Garcia is eager to bolster his defence in January and could go after Liverpool's Sakho despite failing in his attempts to sign the Frenchman in the summer.
It is believed that Jurgen Klopp's arrival at Anfield has the future of Sakho under a cloud and Roma may make an offer in the winter in a bid to lure him to the Stadio Olympic.
The report indicates that Klopp may look elsewhere for defenders which could open the door for the Giallorossi to go after 25-year-old France international Sakho who has just three Premier League appearances under his belt so far this season.
Roma currently sit fourth in Serie A, four points behind leaders Fiorentina, and Garcia reportedly wants to strengthen his squad in the next transfer window so he can launch a title assault.
