Roma have jumped into the battle for Inter Milan attacker Stevan Jovetic.

Jovetic spent last season with Sevilla, having been signed by new Roma sports chief Monchi.

Sky Italia says Monchi is ready for a reunion - though Sevilla president Jose Castro has also confirmed their interest.

The Nerazzurri are prepared to sell and had been in advanced talks with Sevilla.

However, the deal has stalled over the last 24 hours after Monchi made his move.
