AS Roma striker Mattia Destro is being hailed as the future of Italian football.

Destro is yet to score for Roma this season.

"I wouldn't do the swap if I was Roma," former Siena sporting director Giorgio Perinetti told the Gazzetta Giallorossa.

"That's not because Quagliarella is not a good player, but because the potential of Destro is massive.

"To give him to Juventus would mean handing over Italy's striker of the future. Roma went for him and I think they'll keep a tight grip on him."
