Marco Borriello was delighted to get on the scoresheet in AS Roma's victory over Bayern Munich.
The Giallorossi were trailing 2-0 at half-time before the former Milan striker got his team back into it straight after the restart.
"It is the most important goal of my career," grinned Borriello of the 3-2 victory.
"The team had an unbelievable reaction and the fans were just fantastic!"
Claudio Ranieri also hailed Borriello for the Champions League performance last night.
"He is a great centre-forward and I am happy for him. Anyone who comes to Roma finds a relaxed locker room atmosphere and a united team that wants to do well," said the Coach.
"I believe the locker room rapport is what stands Roma apart from other sides."
