AS Roma striker Marco Borriello has been cleared to face AC Milan this week.
He required treatment to facial injury during yesterday's 1-0 win over Bari, but was able to carry on the game.
It did not seem to be anything more than a knock, but a statement released by the club this evening confirmed X-Rays found a different story.
"Borriello has fractured the anterior wall of the right maxillary sinus," read the medical report.
This is an area just under the eye and cheekbone. "The lesion will be corrected surgically over the Christmas break, allowing the player to continue his activity."
