AS Roma striker Adriano has declared he expects to join Flamengo in June.
Adriano is currently in Brazil on his winter break.
He said: "I will play with Flamengo in June. You can come and wait for me at the airport.
"It's very sad to have to leave all this and travel [back to Italy] again.
"I have already been there long enough. No one is made of steel. For this reason, I will be happy when I return to Brazil and play with Flamengo.
"I've had a grave family problem. My uncle had a heart attack and is recovering in hospital. I am tied to my father's family and this problem has left me shocked.
"I explained to Roma what happened. I don't believe there will be any problems. I would like to once again thank the Giallorossi. I will give my best in the next few months but in June I will leave."
