Valencia are ready to turn to Roma youngster Alberto Aquilani after being frustrated in their midfield transfer search.
Los Che sports chief Miguel Ruiz Angel is planning a £7 million bid for Aquilani after giving up on their pursuit of Olympique Lyon ace Kim Kallstrom.
Roma insist Aquilani, a star at the U21 European Championships this summer, is not for sale, but that won't put off Valencia from making an offer.
