AS Roma sporting director Monchi has cooled talk of a move to Barcelona.

The former Sevilla chief is being linked with a return to Spain at Barca.

"For now I have no plans to go back to Spain because I'm happy where I am now," he told Cadena COPE.

“It's a different project, one where I've had to find the ideal Monchi for this situation. I'm not a person who lives for the future.

“I'm a lot more focused on the present and I still have several years left on my contract with Roma.

“I have a release clause, but I don't know how much it's worth. I should calculate it!"
