Roma captain Francesco Totti has declared he would consider a return to international football. The Italy World Cup winner says he expects to make a decision by April next year in time for South Africa 2010.
"Everybody is talking about this but in the end Lippi and I will make the decision," revealed Totti.
"I like the fact that Lippi talks well about me, we always had a great relationship on and off the pitch.
"The veterans asked me to return. March or April will be the decisive month to see how I feel."
Totti also spoke about his new contract and the situation with his own club.
"We signed the papers and are just waiting for Roma to deposit it. I expected us to be struggling but this team is worth Inter, Milan and Juve - we deserve to stay up there."
