Roma captain Francesco Totti is happy coach Luciano Spalletti is staying.

"I already knew Spalletti would stay. The club told me on Sunday. Anyway he already has a contract with Roma," Totti said.

Totti also denied that he and Daniele De Rossi had lunch with Spalletti last week to convince him to commit to Roma.

"There has never been a lunch date. We met in the same restaurant but were sat at three different tables. I am happy that he is staying because there is no one else like him," Totti concluded.
