Roma captain Francesco Totti admits it will be difficult to overhaul Inter MilanSerie A leaders.
Victory over Atalanta yesterday kept Roma within seven points of Inter and Totti said: "If Inter keeps winning, we can't do anything about it. We must try to keep second place and hold off Juventus.
"We've sent an important message from Bergamo, but it will be difficult to haul in the Nerazzurri.
"They are proving to be one step above the rest."
