Roma skipper Totti delivers upbeat injury report

Roma captain Francesco Totti has revealed his knee injury isn't as bad as first feared.

Totti broke down after scoring in their win over Napoli.

"I was really scared. I couldn't and didn't want to stop now. The fear cancelled out the joy of the two goals and the win," Totti said.

"I am relishing the fact this brace allowed me to catch Batistuta [in Serie A's all-time scoring charts]. Antonio Di Natale is still ahead of me [in the Capocannoniere race], but I have cut the gap and hope to catch up with him soon."

Totti should get the chance to do just that on October 18 when Roma travel to Milan.

"The team showed great character [against Napoli], we suffered but deserved to win and the table looks more interesting now.

"I will focus on recovering during the international break and I hope to be back to face Milan."
