Roma’s Pizarro set for Man City loan

AS Roma midfielder David Pizarro is reportedly on his way to England to complete a loan move to Manchester City.

Sky Sports suggests the 32-year old Chilean is on a flight from Rome to Manchester to put the final touches on a short-term spell which will see him remain at Eastlands until the end of the season.

Pizarro has made just seven Serie A appearances this season but has extensive experience and Roberto Mancini feels he will bring some depth to his squad as he chases the Premier League title.
