AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has denied suggestions that he was in Manchester this week.

Italian newspaper Leggo reported that the 26-year old Belgian had travelled to England's north to hold talks with both Manchester United and Manchester City.

Rainggolan has been linked with the Premier League duo in recent weeks but moved quickly to deny claims that he was present in the city to discuss a potential transfer.

"To be training and be placed somewhere else is hard," former Cagliari ace Nainggolan wrote on Twitter.

The 10-time Belgium international joined the Giallorossi in January 2014 and is contracted with the capital club until the summer of 2018.
