Roma's deal for Stephan El Shaarawy is under threat.

The striker joined Roma in January on-loan from AC Milan and has impressed under coach Luciano Spalletti.

A permanent option was settled for a price of €13 million.

However, Il Messaggero says two Premier League clubs have made contact with Milan armed with offers of €20 million.

There is now a risk of Roma losing El Shaarawy unless they agree to upping the price of the permanent option.
