AS Roma striker Julio Baptista believes this weeks Champions League tie against French club Bordeaux is their most important match of the season.
A draw will ensure Roma progress through to the next round whilst a win will see them finish on top of their group and Baptista wants a victory so they can avoid stronger teams in the future.
"Every minor error could prove fatal, so this is the most important game of the year," Baptista told UEFA.com.
"Qualification is in our hands and it's important to finish first so we can avoid meeting teams like Barcelona.
"We didn't get off to the best of starts, but the situation is getting better and better.
"I am giving my best, even if I'm not 100 per cent yet. I will continue to contribute and I think we can have a great game tomorrow."
