Roma president Rosella Sensi says Inter Milan's victory at Lazio was a shameful day for Italian football.

Roma are furious after seeing Lazio fans cheer Inter's goals in their 2-0 defeat.

"After what we have seen define the most beautiful League in the world, it's paradoxical," said Rosella.

"If I were in Inter's place, I would be ashamed of winning in this way: the joy of Roma's fans is not inferior to that of Inter's.

"There is all the desire to make an official protest, but contingency - that is the fact that on Wednesday we play a very delicate match from a public order point of view against Inter - invites us to be prudent."
