Roma president Rosella Sensi has praised their players after defeat to Arsenal in the Champions League.

"We were united," Sensi explained. "I believe that all the players and fans should be thanked again for their efforts. We saw a unique Roma.

"Of course there is a great feeling of regret when you suffer an extremely undeserved result like this.

"I truly don't believe we can call it a failure in substance, though. It's only a failure in the sense of the result. We now have to start again, as we always have done."
