Roma president Rosella Sensi admits the sale of Alberto Aquilani to Liverpool was painful.
Sensi tried to balance the books by selling homegrown midfielder Aquilani to Liverpool for £18 million.
"This was a painful sale, but he deserves a big club. However, we are not taking Roma apart and Daniele De Rossi will never be on the market."
