AS Roma president James Pallotta will be in Italy this week.

Pallotta is flying in from the US for strategy and transfer talks with the club's board and football staff.

However, the first meeting will be with general manager Franco Baldini to discuss the interest of Tottenham.

Spurs want Baldini to take on their newly created director of football role and have already made contact.

Pallotta is eager to sort out Baldini's future this week.
