AS Roma have put Real Madrid and Manchester United on red alert as they consider selling Daniele De Rossi this summer. De Rossi has been a long-term for both European heavyweights and will be sold if he continues to baulk at agreeing terms over a new contract.
Gazzetta dello Sport says De Rossi could be put up for sale this summer in order to raise funds for Palermo star Javier Pastore.
The midfielder is unlikely to move to a Serie A rival and is regarded highly by United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini will also been interested in the Italy international.
