Roma players angry over Catania fines

Roma players are unhappy with the fines for Catania over crowd trouble at the end of their defeat.

"This is not the first time there have been problems at the end of games, especially at Catania," said captain Totti.

"The authorities have got to take action and clamp down on this sort of thing."

Teammate Simone Perrotta was particularly harsh in the aftermath of the 3-2 defeat on Sunday afternoon.

"I don't like this place," snapped Perrotta after the match. "At the final whistle there are always so many people who come on to the field.

"In order to get my son on to the Olimpico pitch to celebrate with me, I have to make endless official requests, but here there always seem to be 3,000 people. It's not right."
