AS Roma are weighing up a shock move for Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas.

Casillas could be forced to leave Real this summer if David de Gea arrives from Manchester United.

AS says Roma have already kicked off talks with Real over a deal for Casillas.

He has a three-year contract with Real Madrid that does not expire until June 2017, earning €3m per season.

The Giallorossi are looking for a new shot-stopper, as Morgan De Sanctis is expected to retire in 2016.
