Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has cooled his interest in AS Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
The Dutchman has been linked with Spurs and Roma chief Franco Baldini attempted to open talks this week with Villas-Boas, but received little encouragement.
AVB appears to have settled on Olympique Lyon No1 Hugo Lloris as the goalkeeper signing he wants by Friday's transfer deadline.
