Roma are interested in Real Zaragoza defender Roberto Ayala.
The veteran Argentine centre-half is ready to quit the Segunda Liga outfit before the winter market shuts.
Ayala's agent, Claudio Anellucci, said: "If Roma call us, we would be ready to begin any negotiations. Anything can happen until the end of the market."
