Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan insists they can catch Serie A leaders Juventus.

Roma now sit second in the table.

Nainggolan said, “We are more confident now and when the positive results started coming in, it created momentum, so everything seemed easier. We play in a very direct manner and try to hurt the opposition defence whenever possible.

“There is a different atmosphere in the locker room. In the table there are teams in the top places who don't play better football than us, so seeing that increases our confidence that we can achieve something important.

“Talking amongst ourselves we realised that other sides are struggling more than in previous years, so why not try to take advantage of that and do something great this season?

“I don't know how far we can go, but we are working well and trying to do even better. Considering the way Juventus are playing right now, I think we can catch them, but it above all depends on us. If we don't win a game, they could break away."
