Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has explained rejecting Chelsea.

Nainggolan was a target for Chelsea last summer.

“I made a lifestyle choice, I've been in Italy for 12 years," Nainggolan told Sky Italia.

“I feel respected here, and I didn't want to leave all this. I'm happy where I live."

He added: “We look forward to try and put as much distance as we can between ourselves and Napoli, although they're doing very well.

“There's a long way to go and it will be very difficult."
